Yeah, the traditional Anime style had it's charm, but the 3D animation for the show looks so good! I think it fits better with the superhero genre.

I simply don't like it. They look like videogame graphics to me. I don't like the way the character aesthetics in this version either, between Marinette/Adrien and Ladybug/Cat Noir.

Oh, I get what you mean! I didn't really make it clear, but I was mostly happy about the change in dynamics. It goes from Chat being flirty in a kind of skeezy way and Marinette doing a weird sexy pout-thing, to just two kids one of whom is going "ARE YOU EXCITED I'M SO EXCITED" and the other's thinking "help me crUSH WHAT DO I DO." Which is a way better thing to have going on in your show for kids.
But yeah, if I got to choose between the two, I'd definitely still pick the 2D. The animation style was just so cool. That said, I think what we've seen of the CG is really pretty, especially when it's still.

That's fine. I can't follow something like this however. It's not for me.

Definitely understandable. Like that animator you talked to said, this show has definitely been bought out and retooled for six year old girls. It was bound to lose a chunk of its older audience along the way. :/

They said the stories would still be suitable for people of all ages, including the older audience it attracted, so I wouldn't really worry too much yet.

Huh, that does sound promising. We have a real life actual air date, so we might actually get to find out.

I've seen those posts, and we'll agree to disagree, right? Like I said in my intro, I think the CG look suits it better, but would still love a 2D version, so all the more reason to support the 3D version.

I would have preferred a 2D version, but I gotta say I just watched the trailer after finding out this show came back from the dead. WOW. I freakin' love it. It's a bit to get used to by comparison but then again if you love Pixar/Dreamworks movies like I do..
