As many people know "Ladybug PV" is a reupload because the original leak had gotten removed. But it might have been changed!
Yleek11 reuploaded the PV saying the Ladybug PV we all know and love has the audio shifted from the original.
And...they might just be right.
The audio queues make a LOT more sense in this version.

Wait what? This PV (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlwV3scCgAM) was a reupload of the original? Huh.
Hmm. Rewatching.
-edit- Kinda mixed on this.. The first fits better to me in some moments (:54 and 1:40) but the reupload does seem to also fit some parts very well (like 1:14, 2:01, and 2:38). Overall I think I prefer the first, might be bias because I'm used to it after watching it so many times.

So what ever happened to that original upload? If the re-upload has audio out of sync, is that because of a problem on the re-upload? Or was it always that way even in the original video (which is now down)? If it was that way in the original, maybe it seemed out of sync to the viewers, but not in the minds of those who created it to start with, in which case it really isn't out of sync, because that's how the original creators intended it. Also, who released it? Was it released by the original company that made it, planning for releasing an anime show, but then they removed the video when they decided to release a 3D CGI animation instead? Or was this a leak by a company employee, who never was supposed to post it in the first place, such that if he didn't leak it, it never would have been seen by the public? Also, does anybody on this forum have a downloaded copy of the original (now deleted) video in question? There are plugins for the Firefox web browser like Video Download Helper (previously called Download Helper), and Youtube Downloader, which specifically are intended to allow downloading of videos from Youtube and other video hosting sites. I find it hard to believe that a person has to attempt to reconstruct the original video and go out and try to fix the audio video sync themselves, when there must be some already existing copy on somebody's harddrive (downloaded via a video downloader type browser plugin) of this original PV release before it got deleted from Youtube. I can't imagine in this day when there's video downloader plugins for browsers, that nobody downloaded this video before it got deleted. By the way, it's not technically deleted. It's been moved to private. If I knew who uploaded it, I would go to them and ask them for permission to view it. Problem is, there's no way to take a known video URL and find out the name of the person who uploaded it. You can go to anybody's Youtube channel and find out what videos they have, but as far as I know, there's no way to do the opposite (take a video and find out the name of the youtube user/channel that it originally was associated with). However, if there is a way, I hope somebody here on this forum will know how to do it. For the record, here's the original link for the (now private) video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=udxqOqq45ac

As it happens, the "original PV" was off time because it was a leak, not an official release; the "fixed timing" is just fan speculation, but we've had a lot of time to speculate about what was and wasn't intended. A lot of time. As for the original, because I care about you very much as one of three active accounts on this forum, I dug through my tumblr until I found another upload of the original: www.youtube.com/watch?t=16&v=FlwV3scCgAM Some parts work better, some don't, but I agree that overall this "fixed" version makes more sense than what I just linked to.

My thought was that maybe the leaked version was the final form, as intended, but that they canceled the anime version of the show, and so they were about to also cancel the release of the trailer, when one employee decided to leak the trailer to make sure that the public had a chance to see it. I thought maybe that any problem with the timing that might exist, might have had to do with the fact that it was uploaded once, then downloaded (before the original was made private), and then re-uploaded (to fill in for the fact that the original got made private) and that this downloading and re-uploading might have corrupted the audio-video sync, and that if I'd had the chance to see the TRUE original (the one that's now private), I'd find that it has perfect sync. Also, there's a problem with the one that supposedly is fixed. Just before the 0:11 mark, it briefly flashes a single frame. I don't know what that's all about. This indicates a glitch in editing the video stream (not the audio stream), but I had no idea that any of the video needed editing to make the sync correction. I thought it was just a matter of shifting the timing of the audio, by adding a silent period to the beginning of the audio stream. Maybe you can fill me in on why that video flashes that frame (if you were the one who made the edited video).

I've been around since the day the PV leaked, so from what I remember things looked roughly like this: it was leaked in September of 2012, and soon after, a website went up saying Miraculous Ladybug would be airing in 2013. Then over time things started getting confusing, with the site getting constantly taken up/down/changed pretty often, the release date got pushed back a couple times, a CG addition to the franchise got announced, there was a slot machine flash game for some reason. Then things went really quiet from early 2014 to recently, when the CG version got announced as the winner of the Producer Hunger Games and the anime version's body was never seen again.
Y'know, I noticed those extra frames in the fixed version too. They're in several other places through the video, and I checked and they're not in the original upload. Which. Doesn't make any sense at all, if this is just re-synched with the same audio and video.
I guess that means there's more than one version of the video out there, too, and the one above is the less polished/edited one?
Weird.

Or is the the RE-UPLOAD of the original leak (after the original leak was made private), when the timing went bad?
