New image on the Zagtoon website ! A gorgeeeous close up of Marinette's eyes.
Man, this is absolutely stunning. It just looks like Zagtoon puts so much love into their work, and it shows...I think a great part of why people are hyped about the trailer is because the passion of the creators just seeps through. You can really tell how much work went into communicating emotion. And the eyes are a great way to tell, as seen in this picture but also in the animated trailer :
Anyway, back on topic : for those who missed it, Ladybug is actually a huge franchise project. They must be REALLY confident in the quality of their product...which is a very good sign. Anyway, not only is an international 26 episodes anime in the works, but also a stereoscopic CG movie for a budget of $50 millions. And boy does that budget show. Here is the other image we have from that project :
This one was emailed by the Zagtoon CEO himself to a enthusiastic fan :

And it's my current wallpaper :-p
Notice how her ribbons have been cut short into actual antennas. 99% sure the reason for that is to cut back on animation costs. Floaty things = hell to animate in CG without looking like crap.
I can't wait to see how Chat Noir looks in that style. And every other character for that matter.
On an aside, allow me to give my Marketing student insights on Zagtoon's weird communication strategy about the show. As you may know, the trailer that had us all lose our minds wasn't actually supposed to go public. The cat came out of the bag too soon, and now they have to deal with the hype - or more accurately, they have to manage it for A FULL YEAR until the actual release. So their only choice is to drop a little of their material very parcimoniously every so often, just to rekindle the excitement a bit. I expect they'll drop us an image every so often for a few months, until they are ready for a full scale announcement with actual trailers and such - I wouldn't really expect that until at least 6 months before airing date. That's actually a pretty difficult situation they put themselves into - keeping public interest for a whole year is going to be goddamn difficult for their marketing department, and the hype the trailer provoked is setting very high expectations for the actual show - it's going to be pretty difficult for them not to disappoint. See The Legend of Korra phenomenon...Moreso, everyone is free to project anything and everything into the future show while we have very little info, so there is no way they'll be able to please everyone with the final product - there is a risk that fandom will have created it's own universe by then, a very different beast. Anyway, the way I see it, if this show delivers qualitywise it could be their jackpot, but they're taking a pretty big risk betting so much on it. The material we have so far is flawless and they seem confident in their quality though, so these are good signs.
And also : while copying today's picture into the thread, I noticed it's title was "-1". Huh. -1... -1 day ? Before something launches ? Like a website or a big announcement ? Meaning I could be completely wrong with my "they are going to take their time to drop material bit by bit", but that would be pretty awesome. So, are we going to get a surprise tomorrow ? One can dream...
EDIT : Nevermind that, I just checked and the -1 is just a dirty way for inserting that image first into their slideshow - images go by number order, so to have this one display first without renaming every other one they just named it "-1" so it would go before "0". All there is to it...sorry to crush any hopes I had given you there XD
