Yep, it's actually happening. This is the thread where you collect all of our baby fandoms' firsts,
from fanfic (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8511708/1/Beacon AGAIN)
to fanvid (http://50shadesoftakei.tumblr.com/post/31240678949/makes-fan-video-for-a-show-that-doesnt-even-exist)
to fanart (no idea; anyone else want to crawl all the way to the bottom of the tag and see who got there first?).
Be sure to keep an eye out for Baby's First Uh-Ohs too, like our first hater, and the first time a shipping war breaks out.
Ah memories. Maybe someone can make a scrapbook of the pre-show fandom this time next year.

I've also found the first French haters on a couple of anime news websites: Translation: "Ladybug, or Miraculous, in its French title. It makes me want to be sick. Even the French part, even though the thing is partly French, is in English. Disgusting." Translation: "I don't like the character designs, it's a 'bastardised' style. It's an illegitimate child of manga design, I hate that kind of mix... Even though the plot seems excellent, it's a shame. But I think that this is the new French animation style, I'll have to learn to live with this."

Everyone is entitled to their opinion I suppose..
Hater 1. Uh, the anime takes place in France. Marinette seems to be half French. Chat Noir's name is French. The show will be airing in France as well, obviously with a French dub.. So that one is gonna complain about the title being in English? That's what I'm getting from it.
2. Well if he/she doesn't like the character designs, that's fine. But this is a joint project between 3 companies, not just Zagtoon, so the art style probably would be different than what they're used to.
