I'm stealing this from another forum I frequent.
The "Let's Go Over" thread is a community chat thread, where you can talk about anything, everything or even nothing.
A goal is set. 9000 posts. The person to make the 9001st post is the winner and a new goal is set.
The purpose of this thread is to build community. To turn strangers we only know by a name, an age, a gender, and a single common interest into a family.
Rules:
1. Keep it clean. Just cuz you can post "about anything, [and] everything" doesn't mean a certain level tact doesn't apply. There are sub-18 members here. A lot in fact. (Read: No porn, no hate, and nothing that breaks common decency)
2. Have fun!
3. You can multipost (posting repeatedly with no one else posting), especially if you're feeling particularly silly and want to do something like fill an entire page of the thread with nothing by emoticons, but be respectful and don't annoy people with your multiposting.

Also: I'd like to point out for future reference, the forum monitors replies, not posts, meaning the 9,000th reply is the winning 9,001th post.

What better way to bring the blossoming fandom together eh? I like it. /kickstart So I think pretty much all of us are big anime fans here.. What's your favorite series and why? What makes it special for you? Mine will always be Fairy Tail, by Hiro Mashima. The same guy who did Rave Master. It's chock full of comedy, over the top action, and has a pretty good story. Not to mention one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. Some tidbits. Favorite anime? Haven't seen many of late, but I'm partial to Princess Tutu. Ballet, fairytale motif, adorable characters, what's not to like?

For me it's hard to pick a favorite anime since I watch so many but I would have to say that One Piece and Tiger and Bunny are pretty high up on my list. Both have action, comedy, adventure, great characters, and a great story!

I'm more partial to manga than anime nowadays, but I love to read and watch One Piece.
My interest nowadays has shifted to webomics; Drowtales (whom I work for), Unsounded, Knights Errant, Girl Genius, Strays, Fox Sister, Carcicphona, Trying Human, to name a few.

Right now I'm watching Space Brothers and Jormungand. My all time 2 favorite anime are Gurren Lagann and Buso/Busou Renkin (it's spelled ブソウ (Busou) but the official translation calls it Buso)

One Piece is pretty good. I've read the manga, or most of the chapters that are currently out anyway. I doubt I'll ever get to the anime though. I've got WAY too much on my To Watch/Read list as it is.. Still working on Detective Conan, as well as staying updated on a few others.

Princess Tutu is my absolute favorite thing ever. I used to watch anime a *ton,* but I don't quite have the same ability to sit through episode after episode anymore, and watching much of it without marathoning gets pretty tricky. Fairy Tale, I've been meaning to watch that one for a while now. (Mostly because yes, that moosic.)

Yeah, I know that feel. I do try and make time for anime though when I can.
Personally recommend the music. I've got all three volumes of the Fairy Tail soundtrack on my computer. I listen to them sometimes when I'm reading, or just playing some games.

I don't do that much online. Mostly offline games or on my Wii. (love Nintendo)
Recently I've been playing a little bit of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Waiting for the 3.0 overhaul of Morrowind to come out.
*Edit* I know of the series, but haven't played it. I dunno how you feel about the subject, for some it's a little touchy, but you could try and find a good DS emulator and maybe some roms of the games.

Who doesn't? Although I've actually only played one in the series, but money is tight ;_;
