Something that slightly bothered me when watching the PV is Felix's personality. (Until we get more info, I'm going with Tumblr and calling him Felix). You're supposed to get the feeling that his personality as Chat Noir is his real personality and his Felix personality is a mask. But the library scene gives a slightly different spin on things if you analyze it, and with a few logical leaps.
In the library scene, Felix seems to be alone, after all, the catsprite seems to be out and about without him caring. That little thing could easily reveal his secret identity, so for him to not care about its actions probably means he's in a place he feels it won't be seen. Meaning he's alone. And yet he keeps up his "mask".
In fact, his Felix mask stays with him even while transforming. He looks all somber, only giving a slight smirk for half a second, but once he's Chat Noir, he's immediately got that big mischievous grin on his face.
But that alone tells us nothing, maybe he's just had years of practice at keeping up the Felix mask well before he was a hero, and only feels comfortable to let it go when he's Chat Noir.
But then look at the catspirit. It has the same green whites of his eyes as Chat, the same grin and the same hypernerss.
So what if Felix's personality is influenced by the catspirit when in Chat Noir form, like their two souls are combined for the duration of the the transformation.
The reason we don't see much of a difference with Marinette is that her and the ladybug spirit seem very similar, at least from what we've seen.
This might even explain the reversing unrequited love. We know that Marinette likes Felix, but Ladybug doesn't like Chat Noir, and that Felix doesn't like Marinette but likes Ladybug...So maybe the reason Chat loves Ladybug but Felix doesn't love Marinette isn't that he doesn't know, but that the catspirit loves the ladybug spirit. Same but reversed for Marinette. She loves Felix, but Ladybug doesn't love Chat because the ladybug spirit dislikes the catspirit.
I might be going too deep with this, so I'll leave it here.
Discuss.
Also: His dramatic eyes might be because he knows he's not in full control of his actions when he transforms, making him reluctant to use the power, but he knows he must.
