You got a forum section called fangirling. Is there a separate section called fanboying? Nope. You should either add one, or else change the name of the one called fangirling to something more gender-neutral. I happen to be a fan of this, even though it hasn't been officially broadcast anywhere yet. I think it shows promise, and as an anime fan, I plan to watch at least one episode of it. It clearly has a Japanese-inspired atmosphere to it like with transforming powers and martial arts (and in fact was originally going to be an anime, before they decided to go with western style 3D CGI animation). And guess what, I'm a guy, not a girl.

Ah, sorry you feel that way. In my mind the world "fangirling" is a gender neutral term, in that it has different connotations from "fanboying" (is that even a thing?). Namely, getting really excited, urgently waving your very emotional thoughts about cartoons around, etc. Whereas being a fanboy gives the feeling of meticulously collecting information and methodically cataloguing every time the release date changed, you know what I mean?
Besides dude, I referred to myself as a brony for years, I'm sure you can do the equal and opposite with this. I believe in you.

To me, both constitute "being a fan". Maybe boys express their interest in the show differently than girls, but a more gender neutral term that would encompass all fans, would seem more appropriate.
