No you're right, it really does xD. That's some clever stuff. I also realised she doesnt have any dots on her mask in the pv. Neither are the ends of her ponytails red.

Hmmm... Say guys, I think it might behoove us to pay close attention to pgs's vimeo page: vimeo.com/pgsentertainmentAs you guys know, they uploaded a password protected album full of ladybug stuff sometime before mipcom. You'll notice that on their vimeo page, there's a list of their recent uploads with previews and everything, even for the password protected stuff, and they seem to upload things on a pretty frequent basis. If we're lucky, we might get to see a new image--tiny though it may be--if they upload any new Ladybug content. Though it's pretty frustrating to know that everything in their Ladybug album had a publicly visible preview at one point but no one thought to look there.

HOLY SHIT GUYS LOOKIT WHAT I JUST FOUND!(I swear to God, I only ever find things after having posted another thing, I'm like a magnet for double posts): picasaweb.google.com/m/viewer#photo/110410143705212685016/5936163012875398689/5936163742678565938
( EDIT: Derp, I found the mobile version, sucks to be desktop users I guess @_@, here's a proper version: plus.google.com/photos/110410143705212685016/albums?banner=pwa ) Looks like some Ladybug stuff from mipcom. No new official images, but if you look at the earlier photos on the album, it looks like they brought some cosplayers along (lucky bastards.) Anyway, the Ladybug outfit the woman is wearing features the up-to-date design. Our mission is clear, we must analyze the guy's Chat Noir costume for design changes. Our fan art will be accurate or it will be obsolete! EDIT:...fuck, he's not wearing thigh-highs. I suggest revolt! He's still got the cute belt tail though--you can see it most clearly in image five--thank God!

Whoops! I spent all day driving back from Missouri, with only my phone for internet, and hadn't realized I had posted a mobile version of the site. Here's a proper version, which you can zoom in on: plus.google.com/photos/110410143705212685016/albums?banner=pwaAlso, on the backdrop in front of which our lucky cosplayers were standing, is a list of companies involved in production/distribution/broadcast. What is it I see at the end? I'm just going to put some of the more notable pics here: Cafe de Marinette... d'awwww <3 Good look at the aforementioned lucky bastards. It has been said that those working on Ladybug are mischievous elves who love to befuddle and mislead fans. No greater proof of this exists than this image right here. EDIT: I noticed this in several shots of Chat Noir. It's not the most apparent here, but it's easiest to zoom in on: He seems to have...something on his right hand. If you look at the other images his left hand looks normal. Though I can’t get a good look at it since the guy’s usually holding his belt in that hand... Maybe I'm imagining it? Or maybe interesting story-related costume design change. Fuck it, for now, I'll just say it's where he keeps his wolverine claws. XD

"It has been said that those working on Ladybug are mischievous elves who love to befuddle and mislead fans. No greater proof of this exists than this image right here." LOL That being said, allow me to temporary derail the topic- OMG 7C's. Do you think that's coming out soon-ish? [As in after Ladybug but still soon-ish?]. I remember reading the description once ages ago and it sounded really cool, but when I tried to find it again it was only in japanese. Google translatorese said something about a new ship crew sailing into the Bermuda triangle. Then Zagtoon's images show BOATING IN THE SKY. www.zagtoon.com/assets/img/7cs/2.png Topic de-railing over. Thanks for the pictures! I need to draw Ladybug in her CGI version sometime.

I think this applies to the new trailer thread? vimeo.com/78714014In other news: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!! Look at his nonplussed face in dazzling hd <3 Also interesting. The clip from the beginning of her transformation sequence looks very similar the same clip from the PV. The shot of her arm is virtually the same between the two versions. Which, in my mind, may indicate that though the medium of animation has changed, the style and direction has not. At this point, there aren't enough CG clips to really judge. But if the CG version can maintain the same energy and fun that existed in the direction and animation of the PV, then I'll be a bit less sad about the anime version being possibly scrapped. After all, half the awesomeness of the PV was in the attention to detail regarding character expressions, the fluidity of the animation, the fun action scenes, etc. Point is, if this indicates that there will be many more errr....key animation frames--I think that's the term I'm looking for--in common between the two versions, then I'll be a happy camper. Toei's at least leaving their directorial mark on this--which probably also means we'll also see that Pretty Cure pose from the PV in the show proper, especially since Toei is ostensibly focusing on the action sequences. Also, Marinette continues to be adorable, and did I see some 7C's in there? It's a swell day for Ladybug fans.

Is there an official source for that or is that the actual official posting of the video by Zagtoon?

Also: Considering they used clips from the 2D PV in the trailer, I seriously doubt its being scrapped.

It's from Zagtoon's official Vimeo--which they apparently created five days ago. I did append a "possibly" in front of the "scrapped" because I don't know for sure. Since the point of the video was ostensibly to showcase their animation capabilities, it could be that they only put the footage in there to show that they're good at animating, regardless of whether or not we'll be seeing Ladybug in anime form. Don't mistake my erring on the side of CG as contempt for the anime version. I'll be jumping for joy whilst shouting in the streets of Paris if we get something solid that indicates a future anime release. I'll be arrested for disturbing the peace and everyone will shake their heads at my obnoxious American ways. Also, *ahem* OMAIGOD, WHY IS SHE SO BADASS AND PERFECT! MY SQUEES WILL BE THE SQUEES THAT PIERCE THE HEAVENS.Something else I just noticed... From WorldScreen: From Vimeo: Looks like they decided to make the color of her outfit a little less orange. I approve. It looks swanky Though...now that I see them side by side... It looks like they did more than just some color correction. The lighting feels more...nighttime-ish, and the highlights on her hair are more detailed.

Hmmm... I've been comparing the two videos again. I'm not sure if I'm just imagining it but...in the clip where Ladybug's jumping around the buildings, in addition to the color correction exemplified by my previous post, I swear the animation looks a bit less jerky in the vimeo video as opposed to the worldscreen one. Does anyone else notice this or am I just imagining it? I swear that there seem to be more frames when she lands after somersaulting through the air, and again as she jumps up.

No i thought so as well, the animation looks more fluid than it did in the other video. Previously i kind of found the way she jumped look unnatural, it looks good to me now.
